**Ambulatory Care Clinic Technicians** can expect a great work-life balance, enjoying a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with NO nights/evenings, weekends or holidays!

You’ll work within our cutting-edge Virtual Care Center on 8-hour shifts from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (subject to change), which provides flexibility and a great work-life balance.

+ **Medication Access Technicians** assist patients in identifying and navigating complex assistance programs (manufacturer, foundations, grants, and 340B Assist), working closely with an interdisciplinary team of pharmacy staff, patient financial advocates, the pharmacy authorization team, revenue cycle, case management, clinic staff, and providers. You will
+ Coordinate referrals, conduct patient insurance and financial reviews, and facilitate shipping to ensure patients receive their medications quickly
+ Respond to complex questions from third party payers and St. Luke's personnel regarding medication-related issues and reimbursement
+ **Medication Authorization Technicians** utilize advanced medication knowledge to maximize revenue capture for high-cost medications in this critical, complex field. You will:
+ Work autonomously and proficiently to guide the provider, patient, and insurance company
+ Collaborate with a cross-functional team of pharmacists, medical/clinical staff, revenue cycle specialists, and patient access services staff including financial advocates and coding staff
+ Engage with third party payers, prescription benefit management companies, governmental peer review organizations, and referring physicians
+ Manage referrals related to prescription medications for various disease
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Valid Idaho Pharmacy Technician Registration
+ Two (2) + years' experience
+ Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
