Highway Engineering Project Manager

GPI has an immediate opening for a Highway Project Manager based out of our Columbia, MD office to help further the growth and development of GPI’s transportation design presence in the region.

We are looking for an individual ready to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplined team of engineers in a growing office environment. GPI has numerous interesting and challenging projects involving all types of roadway, bridge, intersection, and trail designs. Responsibilities:

Deliver projects for clients such as Maryland State Highway Administration, Delaware Department of Transportation, and local counties/municipalitiesBuild effective client relationships by working collaboratively with the client & multi-discipline teams.Prepare and complete engineering designs that are responsive to project needs.Complete tasks within the assigned schedule and budget.Develop project design criteria, calculations, details, and estimates.Mentor staff in the advancement of transportation design.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.10+ years' experience in all aspects of Transportation Engineering preferred.PE licensure in Maryland.Experience in all aspects of roadway design.Working knowledge of CAD software and roadway modeling softwareLeadership, communication, and organizational skills.
