Highway Project Superintendent

Objective
To manage daily responsibilities on diverse heavy/highway construction sites, encompassing a range of projects such as bridge construction, roadway work, tunnel rehabilitation, and various concrete works.


Responsibilities Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and other industry professionals. Establish performance targets and deadlines for project tasks. Strategize and execute construction processes for assigned projects. Oversee staff activities and provide constructive feedback. Track project progress and report updates. Oversee inventory levels and order materials as needed. Coordinate permits and inspections with local authorities. Manage and submit timesheets for on-site staff. Ensure the project site is kept clean, organized, and safe.
Requirements Strong organizational and time-management skills. Solid understanding of basic accounting and business principles. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Experience in heavy/highway construction projects. Understanding of health and safety standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. #M1
