You’ll work alongside professional engineers and designers, gaining exposure to project coordination, relevant computer-assisted engineering software, data collection and so much more. This posting is for the Summer 2023 (mid-May to mid-August) Term start. Responsibilities: * Offer design support on exciting transportation projects * Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and early career professional programs * Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager * The work may include freeway, highway and roadway design, signing and pavement marking plans, utility plans, traffic control plans, technical writing, quantity calculations, construction documents, and all supporting documentation * Attend and contribute to project and team meetings * Support design and preparation of plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D * Support preparation of reports, plans, specifications, construction schedules, and engineers estimate * Perform other duties as needed Pave the way for your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed - today and into tomorrow. * In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited program * Must be at least a rising Junior * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Ideally, you’ll also have: * 3.0 GPA * Working knowledge of AutoCAD * A previous internship related to your field of study * Self-driven time management and organizational skills * Submitted a cover letter with your resume Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
