Location: Easton Lane - Site-based

Contract: Permanent, Full-time – working hours 19:00 – 05:30

 

Responsibilities

As Highways Maintenance Operative, you'll carry out highways maintenance duties as instructed. Including winter maintenance when appropriate.

Your day to day will include:

Respond promptly to incidents on the network as instructed. Responsible for notification to Network Control Centre on commencement and end of winter maintenance and occupation of Roadspace for Traffic Management When trained to do so operate a variety of plant and equipment in order to carry out required duties effectively Work in close cooperation with team members and subcontractors, contributing to the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment for both the network users and work team by ensuring compliance all H&S procedures
