Hilton Garden Inn - Restaurant Dishwasher - Asheville, NC

 A Dishwasher is responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and service ware in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. This position is also responsible for complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards.

Responsibilities:

Washing dishes and operating the dishwasher to effectively and efficiently clean all cooking utensils, silverware, and chinawareCleaning and scrubbing pots and pansBurnish and polish silver as neededPracticing correct sanitation and personal hygiene procedures according to federal, state, local, and company regulationsStocking and maintaining supplies and equipmentKeeping all working areas clean and tidy and ensuring no cross contaminationPerforming other cleaning duties as needed; including, but not limited to, mopping and removing trashTransporting and storing clean service ware to ensure the restaurant is appropriately and timely suppliedPreparing and placing clean service ware for events and functions as neededDemonstrating excellent customer service and interaction by promptly and efficiently responding to all guest inquiries, complaints, or needs to ensure customer satisfactionPromptly reporting customer complaints and/or issues to Restaurant Manager when necessaryEffectively communicating with other F&B department team members to ensure prompt and high-quality serviceRegularly inspecting and cleaning equipment to ensure excellent working condition and sanitationReporting necessary equipment repair/maintenance, hazard, and hygiene issues to Restaurant Manager

Requirements:

Prior dishwashing and restaurant experience are preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentCustomer-service orientedExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong initiative and work ethicPunctual , reliable, and regular attendanceStrong organization skills and attention to detailExcellent multi-tasking skills
