 Job Summary

A room attendant is responsible for the general cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms. 

 Responsibilities 

Vacuum and sweep carpets and floorsClean floors when necessary.Shake, brush, polish and vacuum furnitureDust and clean room decorations, appliances, and structural surfaces. (eg wall applications, window sills, ducts, etc.)Change linens and make bedsClean showers, tubs, sinks, and bathroom items.Remove used guest amenities and trashRestock guest amenities and suppliesCheck rooms for security risks, and the operating condition of the equipment and report it. to maintenanceCheck for damaged linenComplete assigned deep cleaning projects.Report lost articles, maintenance problems, or specials problems to a supervisor. room (eg pets in room)Maintain storage rooms and stock cartsMove linens from cleaning carts to laundry cartsRecord the status of the room on the assignment sheets.Provide information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other amenities • Provide information to guests about local attractions and servicesRequirements Previous cleaning experience is a plus.Solid initiative and work ethicPunctual, reliable, and regular attendanceSpecial attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientedStrong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
