Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and maintaining patient health information to deliver it to the authorized users in a timely, accurate and complete manner. Facilitates the delivery of health care with provide-a-service-first attitude.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Collects and collates medical record information by taking rounds to scan all the inpatient units.
2. Reviews and reconciles all outpatient medical records and paper records.
3. Ensures scanning quality is legible and readable for creating transcribed reports.
4. Monitors the timeliness of uploaded documents and resolves any difficulties with upload process.
5. Processes and analyzes medical record information for compliance with standards, rules, and regulations related to patient information.
6. Performs quality checks and reviews to ensure information is complete, accurate, and meets the established norms.
7. Maintains the archived information database.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
