HIM Coordinator Associate

This is a remote position. There are occasional onsite meetings or events that take place that would require attendance in the CHW region.

In this position, you will support risk adjustment efforts by facilitating medical record retrieval, processing incoming records, and conduct outreach to provider offices. Job Summary

Assist in Risk Adjustment's medical record retrieval through remote EMR (electronic medical record) chart retrieval, processing incoming medical records from provider offices, and outreach to provider offices.

Essential FunctionsFollow proper procedures when accessing PH member records.Responsible for retrieving med records for risk adjustable reviews.Analyzes electronic health records (EHR) for completion in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.Accesses, inputs and retrieves information from various computer systems.Maintains confidentiality of protected health information by providing authorized individuals with timely access to patient information in accordance with Corewell Health, state, and federal regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Associate's DegreeHealth Information Management (HIM) computer software knowledge
