About The Job:

Individual is responsible for maintaining a complete and accurate medical record, for the transfer of paper to electronic records while meeting all State, Federal, and other mandated rules and regulations. Able to assist all customers upon request while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards, and is responsible for the safe storage and retrieval of all patient records.

What we are looking for:

Education [formal]:.

High School Graduate or G.E.D.

Experience: 

Previous healthcare knowledge preferred.

Previous experience in an office environment performing clerical functions preferred.

Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.

Special Skills and Competencies:

Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual able to work with minimum supervision. Ability to work on multiple projects at one time and flexibility to meet department needs
