Health Information Management (HIM) Technician (Non-Certified)

Key responsibilities of this role include:
Daily chart reconciliation of all chart typesProcessing all paper records through prep, scan, quality control, and validation to ensure timely filing into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)Assisting in completing daily scan reconciliation, ESI Log, and cer batchAnalyzing medical records for completeness and assigning appropriate deficiencies on incomplete accountsPerforming verification of ADM/OBS ordersKey qualifications to be considered for this include:
High school diploma or equivalent required0-2 years of related experience requiredStrong communication skills requiredHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailHigh level of work qualityAbility to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workAbility to work individually and still be a team playerFamiliarity with state HIM regulationsAbout Northwest Health
