Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Shift Order Picker to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking ingredients, executing system transactions, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
ResponsibilitiesPick the majority of ingredients needed for production according to the production schedule or as communicated by the production lead/supervisor.Execute system transactions to assign picked ingredients to Production Orders enabling full traceability of raw materials and/or packaging as well as accurate inventory levels in the system.Organize and continuously reconcile ingredients and packaging inventory for accurate inventories on the computer system by product code.Maintain a clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization.Ensure all micro ingredients are well labeled and organized, and storage locations are accurate in the system making them easy to locate.Interpret special instructions on pick lists and follow all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements while handling raw materials.Pull production orders from the system, and verify all the correct ingredients are selected from inventory to fill the order.Complete packaging label duties according to the production schedule or as communicated by the production lead/supervisor.Select label from the system for print and ensure all labels have accurate product code, lot number, expiration date, and any other required information.Follow labeling instructions to product codes where necessary, including label locations, sticker applications, etc.Label all packaging materials for production, including items such as boxes and bags.Essential SkillsForklift operation (stand-up and sit-down forklifts).General labor, picking, packing, material handling, and RF scanner experience.Inventory management and picking experience.Ability to lift 50+ lbs throughout the day.6 months to a year of forklift or material handling experience.Forklift certification preferred but assistance in attaining certification will be provided.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
