Job Title: 2nd Shift Assembler
Job Description

We are seeking entry-level candidates for the position of 2nd Shift Assembler. Ideal candidates will have experience in mechanical assembly, nail technician work, or any manufacturing experience involving small parts. This is a contract-to-hire position, and candidates must understand that it may take longer than six months to become permanent. Flexibility in working hours is essential, including the ability to start an hour before the shift time and work on Saturdays as needed.

ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer or Supervisor.Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience using a microscope.Ability to work with small parts.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 6 months of high-volume small part assembly with a microscope.Ability to work with a microscope for 90% of the shift.Ability to work with small parts, including inspecting various raw materials, with the main product being catheters.High School Diploma or Equivalent.Experience in medical device assembly and cleanroom environments is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing setting, with employees working 100% of the time in a cleanroom. The workstations are close together. Flexibility in working hours is required, including starting an hour before the shift and working on Saturdays when necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr.
