As a Medical Technologist, you will:

Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on all specimens received in the laboratory. Ensure proper storage of all specimens.Follow quality control policies and procedures to ensure reliable patient results. Recognize and verify critical results and report them to the appropriate clinician. Document all results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).Qualifications:NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or valid permit issued by NYSDOE Clinical Laboratory to Technology.Blood Bank experience or interest.ASCP certification is preferred but not required with a full New York State MLT license.Open to newly licensed technologists with an interest in blood banking.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
