Job Description
Responsible for quoting material from plans and specifications on projects. Checks status of orders and assures prompt delivery times. Contributes to high-profile lighting-based initiatives, from planning stages to completion, with lighting team members acting in advisory roles. Keeps apprised of the latest technology trends in lighting by researching new or improved equipment and making appropriate recommendations. Oversees lighting and electrical service requests for clients daily, including upselling lighting conversions.
ResponsibilitiesEnsures all service requests and dispatches are well documented, coordinated, prioritized, and organized.Actively listens to customer needs and inquiries to determine appropriate service actions.Coordinates, schedules, and dispatches service calls.Manages database efficiently and correctly.Corresponds with third-party providers.Resolves customer issues and concerns.Informs customers of any anticipated delays and any additional information needed.Meets deadlines.Reviews vendor quotes and prepares client proposals.Performs other duties as assigned.Essential Skills2-3 years or more experience in lighting.Experience in planning, designing, and executing lighting system programs.Knowledge of electrical components, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Proficiency in using lighting software and tools.Ability to work with a variety of clients and colleagues.High level of attention to detail.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational skills.Unwavering attention to detail.Good typing skills.Professional attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong computer and business software skills, including experience with Office 365.Additional Skills & QualificationsFive years of experience or more.Experience in customer service.Familiarity with converting old lighting to new lighting program rebates.Knowledge of the mechanical trades.Experience with scheduling software.Work Environment
Office environment with potential on-site requirements.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68000.00 - $75000.00
