We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license and experience in hematology. While prior microbiology experience is preferred, we are open to considering newly minted technologists with relevant intern or clinical experience in hematology. Responsibilities + Reading slides, reading the different red/white blood cell counts and counting them + responsible for QC being run and correct + looking through software + validating any abnormalities from slides + doing urinalysis microscopy + must have good communication skills, able to communicate if instrument is down, candidates must be proactive and willing to work. Essential Skills + NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license + ASCP preferred but not required Additional Skills & Qualifications + Hematology experience preferred + Experience in a clinical laboratory setting + Knowledge of medical technology and hematology Work Environment This is a Monday to Friday with rotating weekends.
