Hiring A Sourcing Specialist
Exciting Opportunity: Sourcing Specialist! We are seeking a motivated Sourcing Specialist to take charge of hotel and ground transportation procurement for our clients. If you’re a detail-oriented professional with a knack for negotiation and relationship building, we want you on our team! Key Responsibilities: + Conduct hotel market analyses and gather essential data for key destinations, including hotel names, addresses, and star ratings. + Manage the Request for Proposal/Request for Information process through the RFP platform, JET, negotiating rates and contract terms with suppliers. + Research hotel options and maintain comprehensive data in Salesforce. + Analyze market trends to secure optimal scenarios with airlines and hotel partners. + Create compelling destination presentations using Microsoft and Adobe tools, showcasing savings and meeting revenue goals. + Adapt quickly to changing situations, including adjusting sourcing requirements due to schedule changes. + Schedule hotel site inspections domestically and internationally as needed. + Oversee crewmember feedback via an online portal, ensuring all concerns are addressed in accordance with service level agreements. Essential Skills: + Strategic sourcing and procurement expertise. + Strong negotiation and contract management abilities. + Excellent client relationship management and problem-solving skills. + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines. + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. + Organized and proactive self-starter with a keen attention to detail. + Capacity to engage with diverse cultures both domestically and internationally. Additional Qualifications: + Previous experience in the travel industry, particularly with hotels, is preferred. + Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. + Bilingual in Spanish and English is required. + Customer service and client relationship experience is a strong plus. Work Environment: This position is based in a collaborative office setting within a team of 30. Enjoy a hybrid work schedule (two days remote, three days in-office) after an initial training period.
