Job Title: Collections AnalystJob Description
This individual will provide support and coordination to the billing function of our Accounts Receivable team. The primary focus of this position is to handle and collect on customers' past due accounts, manage a large book of accounts, provide invoices upon customer request, and resolve invoice disputes. Additionally, you will assist customers with tracking all returns and credits.
Responsibilities
+ Manage a portfolio of accounts ranging between 1,000 - 4,000 customers.
+ Collect on accounts carrying high delinquencies and balances of less than $10,000.
+ Use 'Get Paid' system to follow a pre-defined strategy for emailing or calling customers as necessary.
+ Provide high-level customer service and respond to customer inquiries with a sense of urgency.
+ Assist customers with tracking returns and credits.
+ Resolve invoice disputes and provide requested invoices to customers.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in collections, particularly B2B collections with large portfolios.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Proficiency in accounts receivable and reconciliation.
+ Comfortable with making collection calls.
+ Ability to handle account reconciliation and customer disputes.
+ Eagerness and excitement to learn.
+ Ability to multitask effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with collecting on large accounts.
+ Understanding of debt recovery collections.
Work Environment
This role is based in an office, team environment with ample growth opportunities. The company is considering implementing an internal points recognition system that allows employees to 'buy' items from an online store, ranging from small items like pens to large items like vacations.
