**Hiring CNC Operators** **Job Description** + Candidates will be operating unique fabrication equipment in the metal bending/cuts required for the edges of large Window/glass Units. + Candidates will operate all CNC equipment specific to this industry, change programs for each run, manipulate the CNC control panel, and utilize computer-based programs and measuring equipment throughout the shift. **Responsibilities** + Operate CNC equipment specific to metal bending and cuts. + Change programs for each run and manipulate the CNC control panel. + Utilize computer-based programs and measuring equipment. + Operate saws, brake press, and other specialized equipment for metal bending. + Identify and interpret digital 3D drawings and reprogram for various runs. + Meet production goals overall and for the day in respective departments. + Utilize hoists and team lifts for moving large pieces of sheet metal or glass material. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to proficiently read a tape measure. + Experience in metal fabrication with experience in setting up and running machines. + Ability to operate and reprogram CNC machines. + Experience in using tools, fitting, drills, hand tools, and maintenance. + Proficiency in computer numerical control (CNC) software and machine operation. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use measuring equipment like micrometers and calipers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in CAD/CAM software and CNC lathe operation. + Quality control and inspection skills. + Positive attitude with a 'can-do' approach to work. + Flexibility in performing tasks wherever needed, including material handling and cleaning. **Why Work Here?** + The company offers a family-type environment where every associate is valued.
