\nSUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
\nEssential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)
\n
\nMust have experience with writing FAI inspection reports and nonconformance reports!\n\n\tInterpret engineering data such as drawings and specifications\n\tCompetent in using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators.\n\tPerform visual and dimensional inspection\n\tPerform receiving, in-process, final, and first article inspections\n\tPerform inspections to visual and cosmetic standards\n\tAble to understand the root cause and participate in corrective actions\n\tPerform review of supplier certifications for conformance to data collection for statistical analysis\n\n \n\n\n\tRequirements\n\tData collection for statistical analysis\n\tMust understand and be able to interpret tolerances\n\tUnderstand application and use of all types of precision measuring instruments used in mechanical inspection, including interpretations of geometrical and positional tolerance requirements.\n\tTravel as required to support suppliers or source/auditing inspection program.\n\n
