**Hiring for Mechanics in Mt. Holly, NC** **Pay Up To $25/hr.** **Job Description** + We are an industry leader in commercial truck modification, specializing in transforming standard new trucks into custom auto transport trucks, steering conversions for municipal operations, and various work trucks. + At our Charlotte headquarters, we work with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Volvo, Freightliner, Peterbilt, and Ford. + We are looking to expand our team with skilled Truck Technicians. **Responsibilities** + Perform extensive assembly modification work based on printed picture work instructions. + Start on basic lines, installing a second steering wheel and performing basic modifications. + Use hand and impact tools throughout the day. + Conduct electrical routing, primarily plug and play based on work instructions. + Work in various stages of the truck modification process, from decontenting to final assembly. + Perform modifications in single build bays or single stall setups, focusing on tasks like wire routing, steering conversions, suspension swaps, hydraulic AWD setups, and PTO installations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mt.
