**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Maintenance Technicians at this facility perform a variety of preventive and reactive maintenance tasks to keep the various plants running efficiently. Key focus areas include hydraulic systems, valves, pumps, and pressure sensors. Technicians are responsible for wiring of PLCs, motors, and various equipment, as well as preventive maintenance of furnaces during structured shutdowns. Welding and fabricating equipment is also required to ensure the smooth operation of the plant. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on hydraulic systems, including 70-ton presses used for steel forging. + Maintain and troubleshoot valves, pumps, and pressure sensors; ensure systems operate under a vacuum with constant pressure, tested daily for quality. + Wire PLCs, motors, and various equipment ranging from 24v to 480v. + Conduct preventive maintenance on furnaces during scheduled shutdowns. + Weld and fabricate equipment to support plant operations. + Read and interpret blueprints and wire diagrams, including hydraulic prints, to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues. + Troubleshoot various equipment throughout the plant, with a focus on valves, pressure sensors, and hydraulic equipment. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Preventive maintenance + Blueprint reading + Hydraulics maintenance + Electrical troubleshooting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in an industrial Maintenance + Ability to read and interpret wire diagrams and hydraulic prints + Proficiency in welding and fabricating **Why Work Here?** Top employer in the area offering great pay and benefits. **Work Environment** Work environment varies depending on the plant.
