**Hiring for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician!** **Pay: 30-35/hr** **Hours: 3pm-11pm** **Job Description** Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician is required to maintain production and quality by ensuring the proper operation of all equipment. **Responsibilities** + Ensure that allocated work priorities are met on time, minimizing production downtime. + Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on all equipment. + Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing equipment. + Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using proper tools and inspecting parts for wear, replacing or reinstalling new parts, and testing equipment for proper operation. + Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques. + Fabricate repair parts by using maintenance shop instrumentation and equipment. + Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies, and informing the supervisor of needed items. + Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. + Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. + Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. + Contribute to team effort by accomplishing results as needed. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of one year experience in industrial maintenance. + Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, including pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Ability to troubleshoot single and three-phase power. + Experience with Multi-Meter. + Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, machinery repair and installation, troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Allen Bradley PLC experience is a plus. + Welding and fabrication skills. + Facilities maintenance experience. **Why Work Here?** Great pay and desire for long-term fits.
