Job Description

Maintenance Technicians at this facility perform a variety of preventive and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of various plants. Key focus areas include hydraulic systems, valves, pumps, pressure sensors, and the wiring of PLC/machines and motors. Additionally, the role involves preventive maintenance of furnaces during structured shutdowns as well as welding and fabricating equipment to support plant operations.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and reactive maintenance on hydraulic systems, including complex 70-ton presses.Maintain and test valves, pumps, and pressure sensors to ensure systems operate under a vacuum with constant pressure.Wire PLCs, machines, motors, and various equipment ranging from 24v to 480v.Conduct preventive maintenance of furnaces during structured shutdowns.Weld and fabricate equipment to ensure smooth plant operations.Troubleshoot various equipment throughout the plant, focusing on valves, pressure sensors, and hydraulic equipment.Read blueprints and wire diagrams to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, including hydraulic prints.Essential SkillsTroubleshootingPreventive maintenanceBlueprint readingHydraulics maintenanceElectrical troubleshootingExperience with valves, pressure sensors, and hydraulic equipmentAbility to read and interpret hydraulic prints and wire diagramsWelding and fabrication skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in industrial environmentsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment varies depending on the plant. None of the jobs are climate controlled. Some positions are in the furnace department, which can be very hot, while others are subject to outside temperatures. All work areas are roofed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72388.00 - $95572.00/yr.

401(k)
Employees are eligible to participate in the ATI 401(k) Savings Plan. ATI provides an automatic non-elective contribution plus ATI offers an additional dollar for dollar match up to a certain percentage. Currently, employer total contributions total up to 8% in total contributions. Contributions and match are immediately vested.
