Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials to and from production lines. You will gather materials from inventory and transport them to production lines, handle materials from docks to inventory and vice versa, and stage, stack, and wrap pallets. Additionally, you will get products ready for shipment and load and unload trucks. This role requires half of your time to be spent in the production area and the other half in the warehouse/shipping area.

Work Environment
The Alsip facility is a modern and very clean facility that is temperature controlled and divided between the production floor and warehouse. It has been remodeled in the last 10 years and features a smaller workforce of about 10-15 employees on the 1st shift and about half that on the 2nd shift. The Chicago Heights facility, although not as new, is also temperature controlled and houses a larger workforce of several hundred employees across shifts. It features multiple production lines and break rooms, and has security checkpoints at the entrance. Both facilities focus on safety and efficiency, with well-organized inventory and supplies.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $18.35/hr.
