Job Description
We are seeking diligent Forklift operator for our packaging operations at both of our sites. Your role will involve various packaging tasks, ensuring the efficient handling and quality of our products.
ResponsibilitiesOperating forkliftLoading ,Unloading with forklift Putting caps and lids on bottlesBottling products into boxes and casesPlacing bottles, caps, and lids into boxesSorting and separating finished productsPacking jugs and bottles into boxesLifting and staging boxesPalletizing and wrapping boxes and containersPlacing boxes and products into sealer machineryPerforming quality inspections by counting, sorting, and sizingPlacing tags and labels on products and boxesPulling cases off the line and stacking on palletsWrapping and staging cases and boxesWorking on multiple lines and packaging productsHelping operators with batch mixing and janitorial workAssisting in making batches, weighing out product liquid, and prep workDocumenting all ordersWorking with drums and totesLifting up to 55 lbsMaintaining cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and salting the parking lot when it snowsEssential SkillsAbility to perform multiple jobs and work in multiple areasAbility to lift up to 50 lbsManufacturing experienceSteel toe bootsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in chemical, oil, or food manufacturing is a plusPackaging experienceLabor experienceMulti-tasking abilitiesWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
Alsip Facility: A modern, clean, and organized facility with a smaller workforce. It is temperature controlled and has been remodeled in the last 10 years. Safety is a key focus. Chicago Heights Facility: While not as new as Alsip, it remains in good condition and is also temperature controlled. It has a larger workforce, more production lines, and can be more chaotic due to the higher volume of work. Both sites ensure the chemicals used are not harmful and offer multiple break rooms and security checkpoints.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $18.45/hr.
