Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
Job Description

Engage in patient care within the legal boundaries of practical nursing, under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN). Contribute to the creation and execution of care plans for geriatric patients, supervised by an RN. Provide patient care as directed by an RN, adhering to departmental protocols. May be assigned roles such as team leader, primary nurse, or charge nurse, under RN supervision and manages non-professional staff as designated. Monitor, document, and communicate patient information in line with departmental policies. Participate in unit nursing activities and interdisciplinary team efforts. Administer medications and perform nursing tasks according to departmental guidelines. Attend in-service training and participate in departmental committees as required. Perform various related duties as instructed. In emergencies, may undertake unrelated tasks as necessary.

Shifts: Full-time: 3 day 7am-3:15pm & 4 evening 3pm-11:15pm. Schedule is alternating weekends and week starts on Monday. Locations in Suffolk County including Commack and Holtsville. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.41 - $35.65
