**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** As a mechanical assembler, you will be responsible for brazing (using an oxyacetylene torch) copper to copper piping on a daily basis. Each unit is custom, requiring you to cut the piping to length and braze it together according to each customer's specifications. You will work off of blueprints as needed and help assemble the housings for the racks. This role involves a lot of physical movement, including bending, kneeling, and twisting. **Responsibilities** + Brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch + Cutting piping to the correct length based on customer specifications + Reading and interpreting blueprints + Assembling housings for the racks + Engaging in physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day **Essential Skills** + Mechanical assembly experience + Brazing experience + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Experience using hand tools and a tape measure + General mechanical aptitude **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ months of mechanical assembly, complex machine operation, or construction experience + Experience in plumbing or entry-level welding + Experience repairing machinery or working on cars + Ability to use a tape measure accurately **Why Work Here?** This opportunity offers the chance to train into other areas, including brazing, quality control, and function testing. The environment is well-lit and clean, although the nature of the work can be dirty. Work hours are from 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday. The facility does not have air conditioning, but there are fans to keep the air flowing.
