**Job Title: Forklift Operator/Can start asap/1st /2nd shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate a Crown Stand Up Reach, Stand Up Forklift, and Reach Truck in a fast-paced food manufacturing warehouse. Responsibilities include handling materials, shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, inventory management, and cycle counting. **Responsibilities** + Operate Crown Stand Up Reach, Stand Up Forklift, and Reach Truck. + Handle materials efficiently in a freezer environment. + Load and unload trucks. + Perform inventory management and cycle counting. + Maintain high standards of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) in a food warehouse. + Use RF scanners for picking and inventory purposes. + Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in operating stand up forklifts. + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Ability to use a pallet jack. + Material handling expertise. + Knowledge of RF scanner operations. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a freezer environment. + Ability to work in a fast-paced setting. + Strong organizational skills. + Flexibility to move with production demands. **Why Work Here?** Join a supportive team where you will receive new cold gear after your first week of work. It features multiple loading docks and a dynamic process that includes sizing, chopping, splitting, cutting, frying partially, and freezing chicken for customers. Forklift operators will spend most of their time in the freezer but will have a 10-minute break every hour away from the freezer. The first shift runs from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Franklin Park, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
