HIS Records Technician | Health Info & Record Management | Full Time | Day Shift
Overview The Records Technician is responsible for monitoring various queues related to prepping, scanning and indexing. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: monitoring the system, troubleshooting issues, customer support to ensure ongoing satisfaction to all users, supporting workflow, and managing document capture process. This position also participates in user training and understands the integration of the systems that affect department operations. Qualifications Education High School Diploma/GED Licensure/Certification/Registration Valid Driver’s License Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required This position requires reasoning, mathematical, and language skills at the high school level plus some college / technical training. Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks, travel between campuses may be required. Two years of HIM experience preferred. Must be able to read, speak, and write English
