Apply today to join our Histology Lab team at UPMC! **Responsibilities:** + Serve as primary resource for equipment knowledge, troubleshooting and data information regarding imaging system. + Load prepared microscopic slides on to digital image scanner for pathologist review. + Assist with laboratory slide preparation and delivery operations to limit disruption to workflow. + Perform quality assurance evaluation on scanned images. + Confirm slides are scanned as complete cases. + Prepare and analyze data metrics related to imaging system reliability. + Collaborate professionally with the digital imaging implementation team to ensure success. + High school diploma or equivalent required. + 1-year previous medical record department related experience preferred. + Knowledge of medical terminology, histology, anatomy and pathology. + Ability to understand, manipulate and verify data for accurate reports. + Ability to work in an environment with demanding rush deadlines and to concentrate under the pressure of time constraints. + Associate's degree in related field preferred. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** Act 34 **UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran**
