This position works closely with other laboratory section leaders, laboratory management, and pathologists. They ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. **Essential Job Functions** • Utilizes working knowledge of procedures and theories in all areas of responsibilities. • Hires, onboards, and administers disciplinary actions of personnel as needed. • Completes schedule and manages timekeeping. • Implements policies and procedures as relates to specific area. • Oversees training and orientation of personnel. • Maintains standards of accreditation for their area. • Performs regular discussion on priorities and performance to staff via touch bases, check-ins, etc. This document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
