NAACLS accredited Histotechnician program oUnless currently working as a Histotechnician in an approved clinical laboratory or HT certified ASCP or equivalent the education received from a NAACLS accredited HT program is acceptable for a period of five years from the date of completion of that programOR semester hours of academic credit from an accredited collegeuniversity with a combination of semester hours in biology and chemistry must include credit hours in both OR an associate degree from an accredited collegeuniversity with a combination of semester hours in biology and chemistrymust include credit hours in both which may be obtained within or in addition to the associate degree AND one year of full time acceptable clinical experienceAt least year of clinical histology experienceHT Certification ASCP equivalentEffective communication of English languageProficiency in HHC Computer systems ie EPIC SunQuest CoPath preferred but not requiredAbility to provide
