HL7 Interface Designer
This is a system-to-system interface role, not a UX role. The Interface Consultant will be responsible for providing expert consultation on managing and optimizing interfaces between different healthcare systems and applications. This role requires advanced expertise in HL7 and electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability. **Responsibilities:** Provide expert consultation on designing, developing, and maintaining interfaces between various healthcare systems and applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand interface requirements and provide strategic recommendations and technical expertise. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of interfaces to ensure accuracy and reliability of data exchange. Deliver training and support to end users on interface functionality and best practices. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to HL7 and EMR interfaces, and provide thought leadership within the organization. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field + Proven experience working as a consultant with a focus on HL7 and electronic medical records (EMR) + Expertise in interface design and development, including interface engines and protocols + 6+ years of experience in a technical field **Other Job Specific Skills** + Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), Interface Development, Cloud Migrations, Project Life Cycle Management + Process oriented, conceptually driven and possess the ability to think strategically and work collaboratively in a highly technical setting. + Demonstrated success in developing strategic goals and leading complex programs. + Experience with project development lifecycle and systems operations. + Proven ability to interact with customers, senior leadership and program managers in a highly matrixed environment. + Proven ability to develop and extend network of working level contacts to facilitate behind the scenes coordination. + Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering executive level communication on organization transformation and business process changes. Ability to prepare presentations and to present information to senior managers. + Ability to work and apply creativity in a fast-paced environment. + Utilize creative problem-solving and communication--oral and written--skills, emphasizing the abilities to articulate, explain, and deliver technical concepts and issues to non-technical business leadership. + Recognized in field of expertise as an expert. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients **Compensation Ranges** Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience.
