Summary:
Maintain compliance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (“HMDA”) by performing file reviews and analyze HMDA information on granted and non-granted loan applications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform file reviews of mortgage loans for coverage and reporting under the HMDA requirements.Compile and verify the required data elements for reportable loans.Perform file reviews using provided reportsAssist the Team Lead and Home Lending HMDA ManagerProvide proper telephone etiquette to Internal CustomersService Internal Customer Requests/InquiriesReview required documentation for accuracy and completenessPersonal Development as established with ManagerAttend related seminars if applicable to HMDA compliance as recommended by the Home Lending HMDA ManagerAny other duties as assigned or required.Required Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of lending (mortgage, consumer) products and processes.Basic knowledge of consumer compliance and regulations.Basic knowledge of HMDA compliance and related regulations.High School or work experience equivalent to 1 year in a business related field is preferred.The ability to research, interpret, and apply current HMDA for appropriate compliance.Written and Oral Communication skillsInitiative/innovationProblem Assessment and Solving skillsCustomer Service orientedAttention to DetailTechnical Knowledge is a plusTeam work driven
