As a CS Competency Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and operational efficiency of our products in the field. Your main responsibilities include leading the resolution of structural issues, validating solutions, and overseeing the implementation of these solutions to meet our strategic targets. This role requires a detail-oriented approach, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across various teams.
Role and responsibilities1. Issue Resolution:
Lead and participate in resolution meetings to develop and validate structural solutions before field implementation.Handle complex technical queries and provide detailed guidance on procedure issues and service action sequences, focusing on technical accuracy, typography, configuration, and safety.2. Implementation Oversight:
Conduct kick-off meetings to initiate the implementation of structural solutions.Monitor the ongoing implementation processes to ensure compliance with predefined targets and timelines.Adjust implementation strategies based on field feedback and evolving project requirements.3. Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with product development teams, technical support, and field engineers to ensure cohesive service strategies.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather input and feedback that enhances solution effectiveness and customer satisfaction.Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve broader technical issues that affect service quality.4. Documentation and Reporting:
Document all phases of the solution development and implementation processes.Prepare detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.Maintain accurate records of technical queries and resolutions to aid in continuous improvement efforts.5. Continuous Improvement:
Analyze service incidents and implementation feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.Propose and implement enhancements to service procedures and documentation standards.Stay updated with industry standards and new technologies that may impact service delivery and safety protocols.Education and experienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.Proven experience in service engineering or a similar technical role, with a strong focus on structural integrity and problem resolution.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational and project management abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in preparing detailed reports and conducting presentations.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Familiarity with industry-standard software and diagnostic tools.This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
