A Code Enforcement Specialist plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in
the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with
designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for
maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings.
\n
\n\nDuties include but are not limited to:\nNotify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person and electronically.\nRespond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity ofcomplaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.\nInvestigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.\nSchedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n Requirements\nKnowledge of company policies, procedures and forms.\nKnowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)\nKnowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.\nKnowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.\nKnowledge of architectural plans and/or drawings at a proficient level.\nKnowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).\nProfessional customer service skills.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\n
