Exciting opportunity for a motivated scientist to join the Hodi Lab. The Melanoma Center at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a motivated candidate who will lead the investigation and be responsible for the conduct of laboratory-based research in immune therapy for cancer.

The project will investigate the role of angiogenesis in immune regulation and homing. This work will strive to improve understanding of the interplay of angiogenesis and immune checkpoint blockade as well as other immune therapy interventions. This work involves basic immunology skills that include evaluation of novel therapeutic targets.
The candidate will oversee daily activities of conducting the research as well as supervise and guide technical staff. The development of novel immunologic techniques and applying novel technologies will be included in this effort in addition to animal work. The successful candidate will have a primary role in the preclinical development of novel immune therapeutics and will be involved in manuscript preparation, authorship, attending scientific conferences, and scientific presentations. This position has potential for promotion within the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Ph.D or M.D in biology or related field strongly preferred.
