**Job Title: Hoist and Crane Service Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Hoist and Crane Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of hoists and cranes. This position involves both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and requires some computer and app experience. You will travel to job sites, report on repairs made, and occasionally pick up tools and parts from the plant.
**Responsibilities**
+ Clock in when you hit the road using an app.
+ Travel to job sites for quoted or non-quoted jobs.
+ For quoted jobs, follow specific instructions on issues, parts, tools needed, and time estimates.
+ For non-quoted jobs, troubleshoot and repair issues such as cranes not moving up and down.
+ Report on repairs made.
+ Pick up and return tools, parts, and scissor lifts from the plant as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience troubleshooting and repairing hoists and cranes.
+ Knowledge of electrical systems including 480V, 230V, 110V, motor controls, circuits, contactors, VFDs, and relay logic.
+ Basic mechanical skills such as motor shaft coupling and bearing replacements.
+ Computer and app experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with welding.
+ Self-starter and ambitious attitude.
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs, lots of walking and climbing, not afraid of heights.
**Why Work Here?**
You will receive overtime pay after 8 hours in a day, on Saturdays, and for hours worked between 6pm-12am. Double time is offered on Sundays and for hours worked between midnight and 6am. There is a monthly bonus potential of up to 8% of your monthly income and year-end goals with additional payouts. The company offers a great culture, flexibility, and a good team aspect.
**Work Environment**
You will work in environments such as steel mills, which are often dirty, dusty, and non-temperature controlled. The standard shift is 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. There is an on-call rotation 1-2 times a month.
