Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hoist Operator 1 to join our team in Irvine, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating various lifting devices to move materials, products, and equipment within our facility.
Operate forklifts and other lifting devices such as fork-grapples, clamps, and elevating platforms to move raw materials, in-process products, and finished goodsLoad and unload materials from pallets, skids, and semi-trailer trucksMaintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies promptlyPerform regular safety checks on all lifting equipmentConduct basic maintenance tasks such as lubricating trucks, recharging batteries, and refueling equipmentNavigate through warehouse aisles, ramps, and in/out of railroad cars and trucks with precisionEnsure proper load balance and adhere to lifting capacity limitsOrganize and optimize storage areas for efficient material handlingQualificationsValid forklift certificationDemonstrated experience in operating forklifts and other material handling equipmentThorough understanding of forklift and load dimensions, as well as lifting capacitiesExcellent spatial awareness and ability to maneuver in tight spacesStrong knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling proceduresPhysical stamina and strength to perform job duties throughout a full shiftKeen attention to detail for maintaining accurate inventory recordsBasic math skills for inventory managementAbility to assess load balance and stabilityTime management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasksCommitment to following all safety protocols and proceduresFlexibility to work in various environments (indoor/outdoor) and adapt to changing prioritiesHigh school diploma or equivalentAdditional InformationThe national pay range for this role is $17.00 - $21.00 per hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location.
In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
