Responsibilities Assists in cleaning drains in homes and commercial buildingsAssists in performing pipe inspection with camerasAssists in unclogging sewers, kitchen and bathroom sinks, tubs, toilets, etc. using plumbing snakes and machinesAssists in performing preventive maintenance in commercial establishments by pumping grease trapsMay assist in all plumbing repairs or installation of new or existing plumbing equipment and the repair of drain linesMay assist in providing cost estimates for other plumbing servicesMay assist in using sewer cameras and sewer locators to determine options and performing some excavation for repairsMay pick up and deliver partsMaintains and fuels vehicle, stocks the service truck with adequate parts, maintains machinery and transports materials and tools to the job site and provides proper accounting of tools Qualifications High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substitutedMust be at least 18 years of ageBasic plumbing capabilities.Knowledge of local and national plumbing code is desiredA valid driver’s license and good communications skills are requiredStrong work ethic, communication skills and commitment to learning
