Responsibilities for Home Care Aides:\n\nProvide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.\nRemind clients to take prescribed medication.\nAssist with ambulation and help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)\nAssist with personal care plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises.\nComplete client's shopping or accompany them too successfully do so.\nPerform housekeeping duties. \nReport any unusual incidents.\nAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency\nOffer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary.\n\n

Qualifications for Personal Care Aides:\n\nMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.\nEnjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.\nAbility to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.\nValidated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.\nPrior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment assisting a client of family member (preferably 1 year)\nWillingness to enforce health and safety standards.\nSupportive and compassionate\nTake pride in providing high quality care.\n\n
