Requirements:

RN (Registered Nurse) LicenseDriver's License, State of Florida required within 30 days of hireDiploma, Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing1 year supervisory role in a related field2 years nursing or home carePrior experience in adult skilled home health and OASIS is preferred

The Home Care Supervisor, RN responsibilities and skills:

Assignment of patients and compliance with all regulatory bodies within the area of responsibilityEnsure quality assurance program and utilization review is followed in accordance with Home Care protocolOversees and investigates patient and physician concerns, risk management concerns and implements changes and training where necessaryResponsible for submitting required reports (such as infection control data, census, staffing, team productivity)Ensuring clinical charts are being submitted timely and accurately to ensure and promote appropriate patient carePerforms supervisory visits with team members to ensure clinical competency of staff Assist in reviewing, revising and providing team member education regarding the Emergency Management program for office and agency staffParticipates with Case Manager on initial Plan of Care review with a focus on quality, utilization and individual patient care goals Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to positionCoaching and counseling skillsAdapt to change and multi-tasking skills
