Home Health Aide - Requirements

Successful completion of a Home Health Aide Certificate (HHA)Palm Beach County HHA BadgeCertified CPR-BLS for healthcare providers (in person course)Must hold the following CEU's- HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer's, Domestic Violence, Infection Control, Medical Records, Resident Rights, Communication w/impaired, Medical Error and Self Administration of MedicationsPhysical Exam and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within the last 5 years is requiredMinimum one (1) year of paid experience is requiredValid Drivers license, auto insuranceReliable transportationAdhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
