Home Health Aide key responsibilities:

As part of the patient care team, works under the guidance and supervision of the staff nurse in providing personal care to the patientsFollows the patient's plan of care for completion of tasks assigned to a home health aide by the registered nurse or other appropriate skilled professionalMaintains an open communication process with the patient, representative (if any), caregivers, and familyDemonstrates competency with assigned tasksComplies with infection prevention and control policies and proceduresReports changes in the patient's conditionHonors patient rights

Required Certifications and Licensures:

CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA certification from accredited 75-hour programDriver's License State of Florida (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire)BLS (Basic Life Support)

Education:

Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Preferred 1 year Home Care
