Heritage Ministries is in growth mode and currently seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team! The Home Health Aide (HHA) is responsible for assisting in the care of residents by performing activities of daily living, recreational, dietary, and housekeeping services, all aimed at promoting hope, dignity, and purposeful living for the residents. Responsibilities:

Assists residents with personal care needs such as, but not limited to, medication administration, daily bathing, dressing, grooming, and dental care. Assists in food preparation as needed, serving residents, and the clean-up of meals. May be required to record food and fluid intake as directed by supervisor. Assists as directed in proper admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, inventory of resident possessions, and report any defective equipment to administration and/or maintenance.  Assists residents with dispensing medications with proper documentation using  the DOT system.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED/TASC equivalent preferred. Must be certified as a Home Health Aide (HHA) Ability to occasionally lift over 60 pounds. Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, squat, twist, and engage in repetitive motion for extended periods of time. Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with staff, residents, visitors, vendors, volunteers and the public in person and via the telephone.
