BayCare's staffing resource office (SRO) is currently in search of our newest Home Health, seasonal RN who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We offer 13-week assignments that can be extended up to 26-weeks if the office continues to have a need.

Facility: Dunedin, Sarasota and Tampa homecare officesLocation: varies (assignments are based on needs of the system)Status: Pool/PRNShift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM / Monday - FridaysWeekend Work: 1 Weekend Rotation a monthOn Call: YesHome visits in assigned service area: Hillsborough, Manatee or Pinellas Counties

The Home Health RN provides hands-on care in the home for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards and protocols. Responsibilities include:

Oversee the activities of the multi-disciplinary team that provides care to the patientMonitor the provision of therapeutic services through written and verbal communication with all disciplinesEnsure that all visits scheduled and provided are authorized and covered by physician ordersReview of patient visits weekly and providing plan to Patient Care Supervisor and team assistant, including anticipated weekend visitsInform the scheduler of any schedule changes and communicates caseload and patient care issues to Home Care Supervisor

Required Certifications and Licensures:

BLS (Basic Life Support)RN (Registered Nurse) LicenseDriver's License State of Florida (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire)

Education:

Required Associate's or Diploma NursingPreferred Bachelor's Nursing

Experience:

Required 2-years Registered Nurse experience in home health setting.
