The Home Health Coder is responsible for and may be assigned to various types of coding for Holzer Home Health Agency. This position is responsible for assigning ICD-10 diagnoses codes following current guidelines to ensure accuracy and completeness.

The candidate will effectively collaborate with field staff and agency clinical leadership to assist clinicians in support of accurate collection of patient assessment information for the OASIS.

Education, Work Experience and Licensure:

· High School graduate or equivalent required

· LPN/RN required

· Home Health Coding Certification preferred

· OASIS Certification preferred

· Demonstrates proficiency with the EMR software

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· 2 years Home Health Coding experience required
