Description: Salary Range: $73.80/hour - $95.46/hour
Job Summary:
Essential Responsibilities:
Manages operations of the Home IV Pharmacy, including staff scheduling, workflow, problem solving and conflict resolution. Monitors vacation, time-off, sick leave, and wage and salary reports.
Compiles statistical data; prepares reports of operating costs and services rendered to manage fiscal resources, direct accounts and inventory for the Home IV Pharmacy services.
Sets and communicates department and organizational goals, initiatives, policies/procedures and objectives for department; evaluates and provides feedback.
Collaborates with internal and external partners to provide quality care.
Oversees quality assurance of IV protocols and therapies for the department.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy management experience.
Education
Bachelors degree in pharmacy or PharmD.
License, Certification, Registration
Pharmacist License (Colorado) within 3 months of hire
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Additional Requirements:
Clinical skills associated with IV admixture.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum two (2) years of experience monitoring, mixing and distributing IV medications.
M-F, on-call
Job Summary:
Assures that pharmacists and technicians provide appropriate, cost-effective pharmaceutical care to patients of the Home IV Pharmacy Service. Supervises pharmacists monitoring antibiotic and TPN collaborative drug therapy management and protocols. Makes members/patients and their needs a primary focus of ones actions; develops and sustains productive member/patient relationships. Maintains knowledge of and assures departmental compliance with Kaiser Permanentes Principles of Responsibility and policies and procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
