Home Loan Specialist Responsibilities: + Support Closing, Funding, and Financial departments by answering customer calls. + Familiarize with internal departments and their terminology. + Troubleshoot third-party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.). + Handle complex calls, emails, or chat sessions. + Complete appraisal eligibility tasks. + Evaluate loan applications for compliance with product guidelines and regulations. + Interact with multiple departments to expedite processing and issue resolution. + Perform other related duties as required. + Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization’s culture and values. Skills and Qualifications: + Comfortable on the phone and supporting various departments. + Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. + Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills. + Proficient with computers and mainstream applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.). + Financial Services and mortgage industry experience preferred but not required. + Experience using Encompass Software is a plus. Loan Closing Assistant Responsibilities: + Coordinate loan closings with brokers and the closing team. + Manage documentation required for loan closings. + Serve as the primary contact between brokers and the closing team. + Handle incoming calls professionally. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. + Identify and address potential issues in the loan closing process. + Provide exceptional customer service. + Maintain accurate records of loan closing activities. Skills and Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or real estate is a plus. + Previous experience in loan processing or real estate preferred. + Strong communication skills, both written and oral. + Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver accurate information. + Team player with strong attention to detail. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
